Great Wave Zen Sangha will sponsor a beach clean-up on Sunday, August 11, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. All are welcome to join, regardless of religious background/preferences. Feel free to invite friends and family.We ask that participants bring gloves, a trash bag, and clothing/footwear appropriate for the shore and the day’s weather. We also recommend bringing drinking water, sunblock, and insect repellant.

Driving directions from the intersection of US Highways 10 and 31 at Scottville, Michigan:
- Head north on US 31 for 21 miles.
- Turn left onto West Forest Trail Road and continue for 5.1 miles.
- Turn left on Forest Service road 5972 (the road to the Lake Michigan Recreation Area campsites) and continue approximately 1.5 miles to the circular parking lot.
- Meet at day pass pay station. ($5/vehicle/day).
