Please join us for this special weekend Sesshin with guiding teacher Susan Myoyu Andersen, Roshi! This multi-day retreat will provide practitioners with an opportunity to deepen their Zazen experience, to practice liturgy, to have private interviews with Myoyu Roshi, and to hear her Teisho (Dharma talk). We request a donation of $80 for members, $100 for non-members.

Please register well in advance. Seating will be limited!

Title: Rohatsu Half-Day Retreat
Location: 608 E. Washington Avenue, Ludington, Michigan
Description: December 8th, Rohatsu, is traditionally the day on which Zen Buddhists commemorate the Enlightenment of the historical Buddha, Sakyamuni. His entrance into nirvana occurred suddenly upon seeing the morning star after many days of still-seated meditation. We too have an opportunity to emulate the Buddha’s experience by participating in this half-day retreat. This retreat will offer participants an opportunity to deepen their Zazen practice, to practice liturgy, to have a private interview with resident priest Gendo, and to hear a Dharma talk. (See a sample schedule.) This event is free, but we ask that everyone register well in advance.
