Precepts Sesshin

Please join us for the 2009 Precepts Sesshin, guided by our teacher, Susan Myoyu Andersen, Roshi. A special focus on the Buddhist Precepts will permeate this retreat and will include talks on the precepts as well as opportunities to work on rakusus during samu. This is an important event for everyone, but especially for those wishing to receive Jukai in the near future. (The Jukai ceremony marks one’s formal commitment to the Zen path and is customarily when dharma names are bestowed.) The sesshin will take place in the White Sands Zen Center, located within Christ Community Church, in Spring Lake, Michigan. Please help yourself to a map and driving directions.
